Classico Negroni Available Online

Cellar Trends recently said that a trend to watch for this year was ‘premix cocktails’ and here we have the first that I have found so far. Tony Conigliaro, renowned cocktail expert and founder of London’s 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini, has worked with his team to bottle his signature drink – Classico Negroni.

The cocktail is made using London Dry Gin, Italian Vermouth and Bitters. To make up the bottled cocktails the mixed Classico Negroni is heated very gently under vacuum for several hours, to release the aroma and to speed up the ageing process.

Classico Negroni is described as “bitter and sweet, with hints of citrus fruits and botanicals.” Tony Conigliaro says that it “should be served straight from the freezer in a chilled glass with NO ice.

The demand for the drink from customers at Bar Termini, where it was first served has inspired this bottled, drink at home creation; and it is hoped that this will quickly be followed by the other 3 versions of the drink: Robusto, Rosato and Superiore.

The drink is bottled at 18.9% ABV and the RRP is £36.95 and is ready to serve from the bottle. See
